There are many ways to make a meaningful contribution to service dogs even if AAD has closed.
Generous donations in the past have gone directly to help Alaskans who suffer
from the effects of PTSD, autism and mobility challenges. Through the generosity of folks like you, these individuals have been able to regain their freedom paw-sitively!
There are a number of professional service dog trainers in Alaska. Ask if they are Dr. Bergin trained! Then you know they have learned from the best! These folks can use help as they work one-by-one with service dog teams. There is a list of recommended trainers in the Resource section.
You can help veterans start VTAD or Veterans Training Assistance Dogs by donating to help send them to professional training at Bergin University of Canine Studies. For donations, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
